Highlights


All 14 Partnership condition communities selected and implemented
the Strengthening Families Program: For Parents and Youth 10-14 (SFP) 
as their family-focused preventive intervention. 

Approximately 400 families attended 

62 SFP program groups were held in 2003 and 2004 in Iowa and Pennsylvania. 

4 communities selected and delivered Life Skills Training as their 
school-based preventive intervention, while 4 selected Project Alert, and 
6 selected All Stars.

Pretest in-school surveys were conducted with 12,253 students.

Pretest in-home family interviews were conducted with 979 families.
